It’s with great shock, sadness and a heavy heart that We inform the public that Rowick “Deep” Stevens was killed on Sunday 24th April 2016, Our deepest condolences to the Steven’s family and friends , further information cannot be divulged at this point of time as the matter is currently under investigation, we ask the members of the public and media to respect the Stevens’ family and friends at this time of grieving .

Club DJ and house music producer, Rowick Deep’s void will be sorely missed in the house music industry of South Africa ,playing role with many firebrand releases such as 45 BPM mixed by Heavy D Krew (Rowick, Vernon and Dominique) and House vs Latino in the late nineties giving rise to the 45bpm phenominum that set South African dancefloors alight. Mid 2000’s in joining the Multi-Racial records stable Rowick pursued on to release a multiple release , including “Loxion House Kulcha” , mixed compilation partnership with Multi-Racial and Loxion Kulcha clothing brand , followed buy his debut studio album release “Music is Life” he followed up with a further solo album release “Unleashed” and further went on to collaborate with Auriol Hays on their 2015 collaboration album titled “Deep Hays” at the time of his passing he was busy on his 3rd studio album. 
Your Life in Music will be dearly missed. "Music is Life"

Simza(Sakhile Simelane) born and raised in the kingdom of Swaziland has been involved in the musicindustry from the age of 15 yrs. It started in high school when him & friend Paul Tarvis ‘Dr P’ played music at school socials using tapes and cd's. Simza and Dr P decided to go professional creating the duo team “The Spin Doctors”. They rocked dance floors all over Swaziland receiving a lot of attention & securing their first Dj residency at a club called “Sibebe”Simza crossed the border to South Africa to pursue his studies, It was then when he decided to take his passion for music to another level at this time being introduced to Multi-Racial Records where he used to buy his music, he was then given a chance to work there after Nathi “Blackcoffee” had to leave& focus on his productions with Shana.  Upon taking the opportunity he started teaching himself how to produce learning from guys like Localizer and Sisco. Soon after that Simza hooked up with fellow countryman Sifiso “S-tone” Magagula .Together they released their first 12” Ep which got a great reception, featuring the hit tracks Holding Back and Sikhatsi & later together with Sabside andDeborah on the hit summer track Minebengidzakiwe. They soon followed suite to release their fullalbum called No Strings Attached. Simza continues to work with producers and artists such as Phumeza, Zano, Black Coffee, Shota, Rowick Deep, Sisco,Rocco and Bantu Soul just to name a few

Keys Snow

Snow is a Mookgophong born DJ/Producer/Performer who was introduced to music at an early age. Performing piano and arranging background music for the choir at church, his interest in music grew tremendously where eventually tapped in to punchier baselines and a more groovy rhythm section of house music. David Maslo
